LeBron James Says Warriors Employee Made Him Take Longer Route Necessary to Locker Room
Didn’t work 🤣
LeBron James’ injury has dominated NBA storylines over the last 24 hours with the latest updates confirming that LBJ avoided the worst and will miss only a few games.
There is, however, a compelling side story that involves LeBron stating that a Warriors employee directed him to take a needlessly longer route to the locker room after suffering the injury.
Lakers believe LeBron James will miss at least a few games after injuring his groin in Christmas Day win over Warriors, per @ChrisBHaynes.

According to Yahoo! Sports’ Chris Haynes, opposing players typically head for the tunnel exit behind the basket near the Warriors’ bench because that’s where the visiting locker room is located.
However, an Oracle Arena employee made LeBron take the tunnel behind the Lakers’ bench and he had to walk all the way around the corridors of the arena just to get to the locker room.
“Yeah, an arena worker told me to go that way,” said James. “They made me take the long route. I know what they were doing.”
Not only are Warriors fans exploiting an injured LeBron, but so are their employees. Classless.
We’d be lying if we said we were surprised. And what’s even funnier is that it had absolutely zero impact on the game, as the King didn’t return, and the Lakers blew out the Warriors 127-101.
The King has been one of the most durable players in NBA history. One injury was sure to set off hecklers, regardless of when and where it took place.
