Makin’ bank.
Jordan Brand sure did take their time brining back the much revered Air Jordan 11 “Concord” — the original grail in many people’s eyes.
Last seen in 2010, JB took advantage of that seven-year itch last weekend, flooding the market with upwards of 1.4 Million pairs, with sources suggesting the release was the biggest single-sneaker release of all time.
Rapper/actor/sneakerhead Jacques Slade AKA Kustoo recently Tweeted out a claim that the past weekend’s “Concord” release was the “the single largest sneaker drop in industry history”.

What that actually means is still up for debate. Biggest in volume? Sure. Highest-selling sneaker ever? Surely. Largest gross revenue? Probably. And is the statement actually true? Perhaps.
Details are still cloudy at this point, and we won’t know for sure until the figures roll out early next year.
But one thing’s for sure, the love for the Concord, and Jordan Brand’s market clout for that matter, is as strong as ever.
