The Air Jordan 1 Acclimate “Triple Black” Arrives November 19
Sharing similar design traits to the versatile Air Force 1 and Nike Dunk, it makes absolute sense that the Air Jordan 1 would be utilized as a base for many varients — including the OG Lows and KOs. More recently, we’ve seen Rebel and Jester designs, to the Zoom CMFT, and now retooled for winter — the Air Jordan 1 Acclimate
The first of a handful of colorways confirmed for Fall/Winter 2021, this Triple Black iteration is as true to the title as you’d expect — so let’s focus entirely on the design’s remodeling. Starting from the sole, you’ll see Zoom Air cushioning and a magnified tread, and high-rise foxing along the midsole. Uppers are treated with a heavy-duty finish and arrive with Wings-branded plastic heel clips and reinforced stitching and semi-perforated forefeet with the aim to keep your toes toasty and dry. Speaking of insulation, the new water-resistant collars boast liners are decked out with a plush textile akin to the recent “Toasty” lineage of Nike classics. Hardware is upgraded, too, with boot-like finishes applied to the eyelets and new ankle buckles, and the pair is capped off by an added rear pull for accessibility.
