Air Jordan 1 High “Chicago” NOT Expected to Return for All-Star Weekend

OG Post 07.18.19 // We’re sorry to crush your festive spirits with some bad news, but the rumored Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” for February 2020 is not happening — at least not for the originally-rumored February release. After taking an in-depth look at the Nike Air Ship/Air Jordan 1 “New Beginnings” Pack, it has been revealed that the Red/White Air Jordan 1 matches both the style code and color description provided by @soleheatonfeet earlier this year (below). We will, however, be getting more OG ’85 cut Air Jordan 1 silhouettes over the course of next year, and considering the “New Beginnings” is literally restarting the Jordan 1 series from the silhouette’s starting point, one would suspect that the first OG colorway to release in the new vintage cut will be the first Air Jordan to hit the market back in 1985: the Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe” This is all yet to be confirmed, but we’ll be sure to keep you guys in the loop when we have more info on the upcoming OG series.

OG Post 07.18.19 // It looks like 2020 will be the year Jordan Brand pushes the reset button on the Air Jordan 1, with true-to-OG remakes of the silhouette set to kick off in the sneaker’s 35th anniversary year. Leading the charge is the iconic Air Jordan 1 “Chicago,” which will be arriving at retailers in February 2020, as per @soleheatonfeet.

The aptly-titled “New Beginnings” all but confirms previous reports that one-for-one OG cuts will return to the Air Jordan 1 — and what better way to launch it than at Chicago’s All-Star Weekend with the colorway of the same name. No looks yet, but keep it locked on HOUSE OF HEAT for more updates!
