It looks like we’re set for a third installment of the Shattered Backboard (yeh — we’re not counting the satins or the Flyknit lows), with news surfacing today of another Black/Starfish colorway to hit the Air Jordan 1 OG High Retro.
Slated to drop for Fall, it’s too early for first looks at this stage, so we’ve taken the liberty to provide you with a Photoshop rendering of the listed colorways, and we’re predicting the traditional “Bred” colorblocking for this drop, but at this stage, it’s just speculation.
But while we’re yet to receive a first look, we do have confirmation of its release date, with the Air Jordan 1 “Shattered Backboard 3.0” set to arrive at retailers on October 4th. Stay tuned for a first official look!
Update 03.05.19 // According to @zSneakerheadz, this year’s Air Jordan 1 “Shattered Backboard” may well arrive in patent leather. The sneaker leaker is suggesting that it’s likely, but not confirmed. We’ve rendered up a pair (above and below) to give you an indication of what may eventuate. We’re still waiting on first looks, but the release is now confirmed for October 26th — originally locked in for October the 4th. Stay tuned for more!
