With neoprene constructs, profile stash pockets, and an overarching waterproofing theme, the pair is more suited to spelunking than a typically military-inspired release. The upper’s mix of grey and black is unassuming t first until you notice the wild redesign at the midfoot pocket and pull system. Its other elements remain consistent with such a release, including closed-off toe boxes, eyestay rings, and technical writing at the tongues, with in-vogue sail midsoles and black rubber outsoles completing the design.
