There are few colorways in which Jordan Brand just can’t stay away. Bred, Chicago and UNC schemes are so engrained in Michael Jordan as an athlete, that it’s inevitable that they will continue to reoccur in his footwear lineage. In fact, just five minutes ago, we unveiled an Air Jordan 1 Mid “Reverse Bred”— and now we’re teasing a low-cut that honors his Tar Heels heritage: the Air Jordan 1 Low “Black/University Blue”

Once again, the model is anchored in a classic white leather base, with overlays of black leather running rife. You’ll find these at all the usual locations, save the Swoosh which sports a striking Uni Blue hue. More pops of the bright, light blue can be found on the embroidered branding at the tongue and heel, as well as the insole Jumpmen. Black and white rounds out the design, with tongues, liners, laces, and sole units alternating between the two hues.

Update 11.30.21 A release date for this new Air Jordan 1 Low “Black/University Blue” has just been confirmed by Nike US for December 30 (originally listed for 12/14), with pairs landing right here on Nike.comfrom 10 am ET on the day.
