Just Dropped // Air Jordan 1 Low “Black/Particle Grey”

As its lead into Summer, the Air Jordan 1 Low has picked some fairly unique textiles, colors, and patterns to showcase itself. Now, after a slew of experimental builds, with perforations, corduroy, and mismatched blocking, it seems that the silhouette is reverting back to both its basic leather and nylon build, as well as some straightforward color blocking; the next of which returns to some OG inspiration.

The trio of black white and grey harkens back to the original 1985 “Shadow” release, and has been seen countless times on the Air Jordan 1 Low over the years — most recently on this Light Smoke Grey number from late last year. In fact, this pair is almost identical in build and blocking, with only a handful of tweaks separating one from the other. Differing only at the tongue (now black nylon with grey branding) and outsole (now black), the pair mimics the aforementioned with white leather uppers, black leather overlays and collars, and with grey liners and Wings logos in the rear — even the insoles are identical.

Given that the 2020 pair sold out in seconds, we’re tipping that these will arrive at the same fate when they do drop over the Summer.
