Contrast Stitching Appears on New Black & Blue Jordan 1 Lows

Over the past 18 months, its become apparent that Jordan Brand has decided to turn their Summer-staple Air Jordan 1 Low into a year-rounder. They’ve achieved this through countless new colorways and a relentless release schedule that sees pairs on shelves at all times all around the globe. Naturally, things have receded a little over the Fall/Winter season, but with Spring in sight, you can expect to see things pick back up. The surfacing of this new contrast-stitched option in black, blue, and white is the first to appear in the new year, and it brings with it an entirely different aesthetic to anything we saw back in 2020, thanks to unique blocking, new materials, and the aforementioned stitched finish.

The uncommon blocking finds smooth white leather at the collar and toe, joined by jet black nubucks at the mid panel and toe cap. a muted mid-blue makes its way to the heel, tongue, and forefoot in three material finishes of suede, mesh, and a cross-hatched suede respectively. The same lacerations are applied to the eyelets and medial forefoot overlays, both of which alternate between a clear jade and the aforementioned mid-blue hue. Swooshes also arrive mismatched, this time in leather, all of which arrives tacked-on with crisp white contrast stitching. The pair is then completed by blue-green liners, tongue and heel branding embroidered in white, and a royal and white sole unit underfoot rounds out the design.

A release date for this new Air Jordan 1 Low did not accompany the official image set below, but you should expect to see this land at select Swoosh stockists and likely on Nike.comin the coming months. As always, keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates.
