In 2023, Jordan Brand is showcasing its versatility by stepping into the skateboarding realm, expanding beyond its well-established basketball roots. The brand's foray into skateboarding has already produced several noteworthy collaborations, including the highly sought-after Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 and the recently unveiled "Just Skate" Air Jordan 1 Low. Continuing this trend, they've now introduced the Air Jordan 1 Low with a beefy, early-century skate-style tongue.

This iteration seems to cater more to kickflips than slam dunks, as the tongue features extra padding for increased comfort. Enhanced cushioning is also noticeable around the collar, offering superior support and coziness for the ankle. Aside from these modifications, the design maintains most of its original features, except for a bolder emblem that replaces the standard embroidered Wings logo at the heel, and a predominantly nubuck construction. In terms of color, the black upper is adorned with mid-grey overlays, while vibrant orange-yellow Swooshes and collars are backed by a red trim, a design choice consistent with the pair's corresponding mid-top release.

Grab an updated official look at this new Air Jordan 1 Low below, and look for pairs to hit select Jumpman cohorts and Nike.com over the Spring/Summer season for both kids and adults.
