Detailed Look: Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Laser” Releasing Aug. 22

Jordan Brand is revisiting its mid-2000s "Laser" aesthetic on the Air Jordan 1 Low OG.

According to X user @zSneakerHeadz, a retro clad in a "Black/University Red/Palomino/Summit White" color scheme will release during August 2026, complete with laser-etched details across its upper. An in-hand look at the product hadn't surfaced as of writing, but the pair was confirmed via official photos a month before launch. The project resembles other "Laser" retros from over the years—including the original Air Jordan 4 "Laser" from 2005 and an ornate Air Jordan 1 from 2013.

Like the seasonal Air Jordan 3 "Laser" retro, the AJ1 Low OG features lasered nods to Michael Jordan's legacy and the Jordan Brand story.

A firm Nike.com/Jordan release has been scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 22.
