After receiving an early pair at the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Low OG, the Knicks superfan referred to the pair as the “Last Dance At The Garden,” a fitting nickname for a release rooted in Michael Jordan’s final chapter and his history with Madison Square Garden.

Celebrating Michael Jordan’s final game at Madison Square Garden as a Chicago Bull, the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Last Dance At The Garden” nods to one of the most symbolic moments of his closing chapter. On March 8, 1998, MJ returned to The Garden in the Air Jordan 1 “Chicago,” linking his first signature sneaker to one of his final appearances on one of basketball’s biggest stages. This pair channels that full-circle moment through a more elevated lens, pairing heritage color cues with premium woven textile, full-grain leather, gold accents, and special packaging.

Rather than going loud with the tribute, the pair takes a more refined approach. The Air Jordan 1 Low OG arrives with red woven textile overlays, white full-grain leather underlays, black detailing, and gold accents across the Swoosh trim, Wings branding, and eyelets, similiar to the recently released Rui Hachimura Air Jordan 1 Low OG PE. The result feels premium without overplaying the theme, nodding to Jordan’s legacy through material and finish rather than obvious storytelling.
The design is said to capture the idea of legacy already secured — not the start of a story, but the closing stretch of one. Its mix of texture, black-and-red contrast, and gold detailing gives the pair a dressed-up feel while still keeping the classic Air Jordan 1 Low OG shape intact.
Underfoot, the sneaker keeps its traditional Air Jordan 1 tooling with encapsulated Air cushioning. The release will also come with special new packaging.
The Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Last Dance At The Garden” is set to release globally on September 26 through Nike SNKRS, Jordan Brand stores, and select retailers. The pair will be available in full-family sizing, with retail set at $140 for men’s pairs, $120 for grade school, $80 for preschool, and $65 for toddler sizing.
