The Air Jordan 1 "Xuan Wu" Releasing in Low Form

Following the limited release of the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Xuan Wu,” Jordan Brand is now preparing a low-top version of the design. This expansion gives fans another opportunity to tap into the storytelling behind the pair, which draws from the legendary Black Tortoise of Chinese mythology.

The Air Jordan 1 Low “Xuan Wu” takes on a premium all-black leather build, maintaining the mystique of the High while introducing a more versatile cut. The heel overlays feature the same embossed pattern of clouds and tortoise motifs, offering a subtle nod to the mythological inspiration. Tonal black Swooshes and Wings logos keep the presentation sharp, while metallic gold accents on the lace tips and tongue branding add just the right amount of contrast. Underfoot, a gum rubber outsole ties the shoe back to the original release, complete with the same intricate design visible beneath.

Like the High version, this AJ1 Low arrives in special-edition packaging. The black box with gold Nike branding underscores the premium feel and celebrates the shoe’s cultural narrative.
