Another Air Jordan 1 Low “UNC” Arrives July 27th

With Spring in full swing and Summer mere moments away, are fast approaching, the seasonal-staple Air Jordan 1 Low has picked up significant steam. Unlike last year, 2021 has birthed some fairly unconventional colorways, with perforations, corduroy, and mismatched builds serving the bulk of the lineup thus far. It appears that this is all about to change as we head into the warmer months, with a third classic leather and nylon build surfacing today — this one once again honoring Mike’s Alma Mater — yes, another Air Jordan 1 Low “UNC”.

With smooth white leather uppers, overlays of Uni Blue in matching material, and pops of navy throughout, the inspiration is unmistakable. The latter hits the nylon tongues, laces, liners, and Wings embroidery, and also provides some textural contrast at Swoosh by introducing suede to the sneaker. As mentioned earlier, a classic leather build fits out the rest of the sneaker, here in a classic Chicago-like blocking. Midsoles opt for clean white, while outsoles of Uni Blue arrive underfoot to complete the design.

A release date for the Air Jordan 1 Low “UNC” did not accompany the official image set below, but you should expect to see these land at select Swoosh stockists and likely on soon.
