It’s gotta be the shoes — they don’t call them “Air” Jordans for nothing. They are gravity-defying, and with Mike’s next release, they’re taking that statement literally, with the release of this women’s-exclusive Air Jordan 1 Mid “Anti-Gravity Machines”
Clad in a mix of premium suede, nylon textile, and synthetic leathers, it’s the latter that produces the most intrigue, given its shift in color from left to right shoe — there are even subtle tonal and texture changed between each overlay. The left foot dons tonal teal hues, while the right rocks red — both of which site atop bone suede and textile collars. Swoosh sets arrive in dark charcoal, with tongues, liners, laces, and soles opting for sail tints. The latter, along with the heel imprints, read the pair’s titular statement to complete the design.
With pairs having released — and sold out in minutes — in Europe earlier this month, a wider release for the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Anti-Gravity Machines” has just hit Nike UK. A Stateside Nike.com release is yet to be confirmed, but some retailers across the country have already unloaded their pairs onto the market — some of which are already available on the aftermarket sites listed below.
