This "Shadow"-Inspired Air Jordan 1 Mid is Bookended in Red

Effortlessly paying homage to the iconic Air Jordan lineage, the Air Jordan 1 Mid has consistently shadowed the strong heritage of the brand; It's latest taking a more literal approach to that sentiment.

Taking cues from the revered OG “Shadow” colorway of 1985's High, this latest Air Jordan 1 Mid iteration adds a fresh-yet-familiar twist to the design.

The shoe's construction sticks to the time-honored tradition, featuring supple, smooth leather uppers synonymous with the Jordan 1 range and durable nylon tongues. The familiar grayscale palette of the “Shadow” is meticulously applied, with soft black dominating the overlays and cool gray gracing the toe box and side panels.

The striking red tone bookends the silhouette, lavishly adorning the sole and the shoe's inner lining adds an unexpected splash, seamlessly melding the subdued elegance of the "Shadow" with the brand's strong ties to the Chi City franchise.

The release date for this new Air Jordan 1 Mid is unknown, but you should expect to see these land at select Swoosh stockists and on Nike.com on January 23, 2024.
