When it comes to Air Jordans, orange is in. It has been since the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Shattered Backboard” dropped in mid-2015, with the brand since riding the orange wave all the way to the bank on several Air Jordan 1 options ever since. The next to appear in an orange arrangement is this Air Jordan 1 Mid “Bright Citrus”, one which arrives in inverted Syracuse blocking.
Like the famed OG Dunk High, the pair sports an upper of orange and white leathers, though here we find its placement flipped. Orange uppers are here overlays with crips white leathers, a color that extends down to the entirety of the sole unit beneath. Nylon tongues and liners follow suit, while branding pops up in the titular hue. Completing the design is a flash of 3M fleck through the laces; an intriguing finish to an already flashy shoe.
While an official release date for the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Bright Citrus” has yet to be revealed, its name-share with the upcoming Air Jordan 11 Lowfor May 6th may well be an indication for this pair’s release, too. Until confirmation arrives, take a look at the official images here below, and be sure to keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates.
