The Air Jordan 1 Mid “Let(Her)Man” Drops Today!

The Air Jordan 1 Mid may have been a stable source of ridicule over the last decade, but in 2020 you can sense that the rise is starting to turn. Last year’s The Fearless Onescollection spearheaded the silhouette’s campaign, with epic collaborative efforts from the likes of Blue the Great, Edison Chen, Melody Ehsani, and Maison Chateau Roge driving some serious hype. Since then, we’ve been blessed with a bevy of options from OG-inspired takes to some pretty experimental efforts. Now another from the latter category has appeared, the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Let(Her)Man”, which pairs unique blocking with atypical materials and elegant metallic gold finishes.

Though its uppers arrive in traditional leather, this Air Jordan 1 Mid introduces corduroy at the collar and tongue in a cream hue to match that of the mid panel, toe, eyelets, and midsole. Classic leather Swooshes are replaced by a fleece-like fabrication in a piercing blue and arrive outlined by metallic gold embroidery. That finish is matched at the tongue, where black suede tags come pinned with golden Jumpmen. Further black hits arrive at the laces, as well as the toe and heel caps, and are joined by a classic Bulls red at the forefoot eyelet and ankle flap overlays. Underfoot you’ll find a rubber outsole in a rarely-used Gum, and the pair is complete with Metallic Wings hardware at the collar.
