When it comes to Air Jordans, orange is in. It has been since the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Shattered Backboard” dropped in mid-2015, with the brand since riding the orange wave all the way to the bank on several Air Jordan 1 options ever since. The next to appear in such an arrangement is this Air Jordan 1 Mid “Electro Orange” for the Spring/Summer season.

Arriving in a blocking closely aligned to the OG Chicago, the pair boasts an all-white upper with one-color overlays done-up here in the a strong orange finish. Collars of bright white and the white-on-white Swooshes below visually open up the back end of the shoe, but it’s brought back into form through the Check’s use of contrast stitching. Pops of black at the Wings and Jumpman branding make a striking statement and also provide the only other hue found throughout the mostly two-tone pair. Completing the design is an orange textile trim and liner, a white midsole, and an orange rubber outsole.
