Though the Fourth of July celebrations are almost too far forward to consider, footwear brands have already planned, produced, and primed to ship their allotments for the national holiday. One of those likely to form part of that schedule is this patriotic Air Jordan 1 Mid “USA 2.0”, which has surfaced today by way of official Nike imagery.

Not to be confused with the nubuck-clad release from 2020, this new scheme for 2022 brings uppers constructed entirely in leather, with sail providing the pair’s anchor. Red leathers roll over the forefoot, eye stays, and collar, with ankle flap and heel caps coming in rich navy blue hues. All three colors converge on the dual-layered, denim-clad, overlocked-stitched Swoosh as the pair’s champion feature. The pair is then completed by sail tongues and laces, and a two-tone sole unit underfoot.
