OG Post // After a very brief brush with a leak earlier this year, January’s upcoming Air Jordan 1 in Black/Gym Red/Metallic Silver has finally found itself some further details. According to @Coley2xs and @zSneakerheadz, the pair will arrive in a similar makeup to the famed “Legends of the Summer” Air Jordan 1 Sample from 2013, a special edition pair made for Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake’s tour of the same name. Take a peep at the sample pair made for JT and Jay below:
That pair is fetching well over $10k on StockX, but if you don’t want to fork out your entire college fund for a pair of kicks, we’ve got some good news for you: Jordan Brand will be releasing a like colorway in January of 2020. It’s said to arrive with a black base paired with red overlays and metallic Swooshes, sitting atop a black midsole and red outsole. It could also include a metallic silver throat, but until first looks arrive, we cannot confirm or deny that claim. While we wait for a first peep, we’ve whipped up a Photoshop rendition (below) based on the information provided to help get the juices flowing. Stay tuned for more!
