The recently introduced Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT 2 is gaining momentum with its eclectic array of colorways, such as those dedicated to the Miami Hurricanes and UNC. Now, in a celebratory nod to the world's most esteemed international basketball competition, the 2023 FIBA World Cup, the model rolls out its latest edition.

This newly minted colorway features a muted blend of white, grey, and gold tones. Fabric panels at the toe and mid-foot opt for a soft grey, while the surrounding leather overlays adopt a clean, crisp white. Diverging from other iterations, this version explicitly channels FIBA inspiration through its gold detailing on the tongue label, lateral ankle flap, and sidewalls.

Much like its cousin, the Air Jordan 38 "FIBA," the "White Gold" also embraces a minimalist color scheme accentuated by significant detailing. Though it may lack the trophy symbol found on the Air Jordan 38, it compensates with a set of vibrant, culturally rich graphic insoles, likely inspired by the host nations of the FIBA World Cup. These insoles add not just a splash of color but also a depth of narrative, tying the shoe to the global scale of the competition.

This edition emphasizes comfort, in line with the model's 'CMFT' designation. The off-white midsole underscores Jordan Brand's penchant for vintage aesthetics. At the same time, the two-tone outsole highlights the innovative Zoom Air cushioning units, ensuring both style and comfort are at the forefront.

Enjoy an official look at the Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT 2 "FIBA" below, and you will find these on Nike.com and select retailers from October 8th for $150.
