This Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT “25 Years in China” is celebrating something different — the brand’s quarter century of operations in China — as it joins a handful of other silhouettes in honoring the occasion.
Truly capturing the era’s aesthetic through gaudy watercolor prints across the outsole, the multi-color finish is striking, but it’s by far the pairs’ most intriguing finish. It’s the white wear-away upper that steals the show, with it’s rub-off revealing a rich royal blue underneath — a finish that can be seen along the leather’s cut edges. Stitching is done in blue, too, as is the ankle Wings motif and the tongue branding that complete the celebratory design.
