Jordan Brand's roster of retro product for 2027 is coming along before 2026 ends, with handfuls of release rumors rumored through reliable sources and/or early in-hand photos. One such retro is the Air Jordan 10 "Taxi" expected to release next spring.
According to the duo of Instagram user @zSneakerHeadz and Sneaker Files, the new take on the Air Jordan design from 1994 features a vibrant "Varsity Maize" color scheme that couples with "Black" and "White" contrast to create a look worthy of the "Taxi" nickname. Within Jordan Brand history, the "Taxi" moniker is best-associated with the original Air Jordan 12, which featured a yellow cab-reminiscent hue on its carbon fiber shank that was explicitly labeled "Taxi" on the shoe box.
Early reports of the eye-catching AJ10 state that Michael Jordan's 10th silhouette (one he's actually said is among his least favorite) indulges in a predominantly "Varsity Maize" makeover across its presumably suede-and-leather upper. A "Black/White" duo should take over the bottom-half of the retro, while the tongue and collar area favors the darker of the two tones. A similar "Taxi" pattern to what appeared on the first AJ12 could appear across inner-lining on the Air Jordan 10, but that remains to be confirmed by authentic, in-hand photos of the sneaker.
Stay tuned for firm Nike.com/Jordan launch details and official photos. The "Taxi" 10s are expected to release in sizing for the whole family, with prices ranging from $215 to $80.
