The Air Jordan 12 “Bloodline” has taken one of the longer paths to retail in recent Jordan Releases memory. Initially teased several years ago as part of Jordan Brand’s broader 40th Anniversary plans, the pair was reportedly lined up for production before ultimately being pushed aside in favor of the return of the “Flu Game” retro.

Now, after multiple delays and reappearances across rumor cycles, the Air Jordan 12 “Bloodline” is finally back on the release calendar for Summer 2026.

The colorway itself stays rooted in familiar Jordan Brand territory. Built around an all-black leather upper, the design pulls inspiration from the framework of 2022’s “Black Taxi” release, this time swapping in bold red accents throughout. Crimson hits the outsole, top eyelets, heel branding, and inner lining, giving the Air Jordan 12 “Bloodline” a clean yet aggressive finish that fits naturally within the model’s legacy lineup.

Official retailer imagery has now surfaced via Nike, confirming that the final product remains close to the early mock-ups that first circulated online some years ago. On foot, the pair carries a straightforward look, relying on classic color blocking rather than heavy storytelling or added details.

As Jordan Releases continue to lean heavily into heritage-driven retros, the Air Jordan 12 “Bloodline” arrives as another example of the brand revisiting familiar formulas with subtle adjustments. It may not carry the same historical weight as some original colorways, but its long road to release has quietly built anticipation around the pair.

Current release details have the Air Jordan 12 “Bloodline” scheduled to launch on May 23, 2026, barring any additional changes. For more upcoming drops and updates, be sure to check our dedicated Air Jordan Release Dates page.
