Nearly two years after it was first issued, the Air Jordan 12 “Michigan” PE has finally surfaced — and it’s packed with championship-grade detail. Created to commemorate the Michigan Wolverines' 2023 NCAA College Football National Championship, this exclusive sneaker is limited to just 265 pairs and pays tribute to one of the most dominant seasons in the program’s history.
The pair arrives in a full navy stingray-textured upper, complemented by a rich navy suede mudguard and finished with premium gold accents. Custom midfoot plates etched with “Hail to the Victors” and “2023-’24 Champions” are a nod to Michigan’s historic undefeated 15-0 season.
Signature Michigan flair can be found throughout. A block yellow 'M' hits the heel tab, while a gold metal Jumpman sits atop the tongue. The interior features quilted leather liners and insoles, reworked with a block ‘M’ monogram stitch pattern, while co-branded insoles are stamped with “2023 Champions” beneath the retro Wolverines logo.
Flip the tongue and you’ll find patches highlighting the program’s legacy: “1000 Wins & Counting” and “NCAA College Football National Champions,” along with the final score of the title game — M34-W14. Each pair is also individually numbered to 265.
Down below, a translucent gold glitter outsole sits atop a Michigan-themed graphic that includes references to the title game’s location and other championship callouts. Each pair was also issued with a custom box featuring co-branded Jumpman and retro Wolverines logos, finished in metallic gold foil.
While these aren’t slated for retail, they stand as a true collector’s piece for fans of the Jumpman and the Maize & Blue.
