Jordan Brand’s Latest Air Jordan 13 Nods to a Classic Celtics Rivalry

Jordan Brand is bringing Celtics-inspired hues back to the Air Jordan 13 this spring—this time, exclusively for kids.

For decades, Michael Jordan's fierce rivalry with Larry Bird meant green rarely made it onto his signature sneakers. However, times have changed, and the Air Jordan 13 "Celtics" remains one of the most celebrated retro releases to feature the bold shade. Now, a fresh take on that classic arrives for the next generation, as the Air Jordan 13 "Pine Green" is set to launch on March 1.

The design stays true to the spirit of the original but introduces subtle refinements. Green suede wraps the collar, midfoot, and midsole, contrasting the tumbled Sail leather upper with a rich contrast. Black details appear on the liner and rubber sole, while tonal Sail-colored pods seamlessly blend into the upper, giving the shoe a balanced and polished look.
