Air Jordan 15 23RE “Black Muslin” Confirmed for Summer 2026
After several years on the sidelines, the Air Jordan 15 is set to make a return in Summer 2026—this time with a modern twist.
Dubbed the Air Jordan 15 23RE “Black Muslin,” this refreshed take on the divisive silhouette kicks off Jordan Brand’s initiative to revisit lesser-seen retro models with updated tooling and colorways, according to reports from zSneakerheadz and Sneaker Files.
The most notable change in this release is the absence of the signature protruding tongue, initially inspired by Michael Jordan’s on-court mannerisms. In its place, the 23RE opts for a taller, extended shroud that aligns more closely with the design’s futuristic DNA. It’s a subtle yet impactful shift that distinguishes the 23RE from past versions.
Dressed in a clean Black and Muslin color scheme, the shoe features a familiar woven upper rendered in jet black, while the midsole, mudguard, and outsole arrive in soft, warm Muslin tones for contrast. The inner bootie follows suit in black, maintaining the stealthy aesthetic up top.
The Air Jordan 15 23RE “Black Muslin” marks the first of several planned revivals for forgotten models, with the Air Jordan 16 and 18 also expected to return through fresh GRs and collaborations.
