Air Jordan 36 “Celtics” Confirmed for April 28 Release

As has been the case for the signature Jordan line over the past few years, the annual model’s design ushers in heavy influence from its 30th-anniversary counterpart. For 2021’s Air Jordan 36, it was the Air Jordan 6 that drove its design, and the OG-inspired colorways followed. Outside of a handful of PE colorways made for Olympic athletes, few colorways from the model have deviated from the OG’s roots, but this next-up release looks to something new — perhaps with Jayson Tatum in mind.

Perhaps meant to arrive for St Patrick’s Day, this Air Jordan 36 “Celtics” tackles the franchise’s alternate lucky green, black, and gold duds, with the former dressing the majority of the release, before perfectly-balanced black and tasteful pops of gold are ushered in across their typical placements. Icy outsoles are retained underfoot, while suedes up top give the pair a more distinct feel – as if a bright green finish wasn’t enough.
