The March Madness 2025 tournament is less than a week away, and Jordan Brand is still unveiling the special Air Jordan 4 pairs it's prepped for its competing, sponsored programs. Today, the Howard University Bison Basketball Team had its Player-Exclusives (PE) make rounds across social media.
Shared via Instagram by @EnglishSole, the limited, commemorative makeup of Tinker Hatfield's 36-year-old design falls in line with retros prepped for the Florida Gators and Oklahoma Sooners squads. A deep blue, however, takes on the bulk of the Bison's offering, with the mix of high-quality materials opting for a near-tonal finish.
Akin to the 'First Class' Air Jordan gifted to select WNBA players last year, the latest PE from the Jumpman features a number of elegant 'Metallic Gold' and diamond details throughout the upper. Nods to Howard University arrive via the special lace dubraes, hangtag, and different branding on the tongues' undersides. Underfoot, the tried-and-proven sole unit from 1989 keeps on-theme with its off-white and navy execution.
