Detailed Looks at the “FIBA” Air Jordan 4 👀
Leaked earlier this year, the FIBA Air Jordan 4, made especially for the 2019 Basketball World Cup, has finally surfaced. First reported to sport a lasered upper, first looks of the US-themed sneaker show otherwise. But it does arrive with some intriguing icon detail in place of the traditional mesh. Each motif in the underlying collage represents the competing nations in this year’s FIBA World Cup, drawing from stars, crosses, and symbols shown on their national flags.
As for its material makeup, the pairs sports a soft, lightly tumbled Gym Red leather upper, paired with matching plastic wings, tongue tabs, and outsole hits. Navy blue is ushered in on the midsole, liner, and eyelets, with a stark white midsole completing the patriotic style.
A release date, originally scheduled for July 6th, has been pushed back to September 7th. Stay tuned for more info and detailed looks as we edge closer to the date!
