Air Jordan 5 OG "Fire Red" (Black Tongue) Returns in 2025

Jordan Brand is gearing up for a monumental year in 2025, with the return of the iconic Air Jordan 5 “Fire Red” slated for a return in the Fall.

This release will celebrate the 35th anniversary of the AJ5, and it’s one that fans have eagerly awaited. The "Fire Red" version set to drop has the black fabric tongue and red-dominant midsole, not the reflective version. It's been a long time since we've seen a genuinely faithful recreation of the 1990 OG, as the previous releases in 2006 and 2013 featured some small but notable changes, including the typeface on the heel numbers and the absence of the original "Nike Air" branding on the heel.

This version is said to be as close to the original as possible, which should excite those who missed out on the earlier retros. The price tag is expected to be $210, and it's sure to be a highlight in what’s already shaping up to be a record-breaking year for Jordan Brand.
