Florida Gators Unveil Their Elephant Print Air Jordan 5 PE

After Mike’s Alma Mater flexed their Tar Heel’s Air Jordan 5 PE last month, it didn’t take too long for opposing Jordan Brand-sponsored colleges to flex their new feets. Now, following on from the Oklahoma Sooners preview comes the football factory that is the Florida Gators and their edition of the elephant-textured Air Jordan 5 PE.

For Florida, a rich royal tint is applied to the textured leather uppers, shown here to feature a light glisten effect when basking in the sun. Complimentary organge hits at the velour tongues and forefoot teeth work with the stark whites of the midsoles and laces. Midfoot and tongue netting arrive somewhere between milky-white and blue tint, while the translucent out the outsole remain a classic ice blue. Completing the design are Gator-branded lace locks and gorgeous Nike Air branding in the rear.

Now that we’ve seen the Tar Heels, Sooners, and Gators reveal their pairs, it’s only a matter of time before we see Michigan and Georgetown, flaunt theirs, too. Peep the photos ahead and stay tuned into our official Twitter accountfor the follow-up reveals.
