First Looks of the Air Jordan 5 “Michigan” have landed, courtesy of zSneakerheadz. While they arrive in similar color blocking to the Fab Five Michigan PE, they do differ slightly, sporting a very similar shade of nubuck upper to 2013’s Tokyo Air Jordan 5. They come complete with blue underlays, laid behind clear plastic mesh at the midfoot, navy midsole, tongues, and lacing system, along with speckled midfoot detailing, icy outsoles and heavy-duty embroidered on Team Jordan patches at the heel. Completing the design is the word “INSPIRE” added to the inner tongues, a play off of the heel’s Team Jordan slogan. Just 64,000 pairs are said to be in production, making it a relatively difficult pair to cop. Stay tuned for more updates, like where to buy ’em as we edge closer to release date.
It’s also important to note that we’ll be getting a Mighican-flavored Air Jordan 12, too. You can read more about that here.
