The Air Jordan 5 "Midnight Navy" Releases November 10

Envisioned initially as a tribute to Georgetown, first impressions of the upcoming Air Jordan 5 "Midnight Navy" reveal that speculative renderings often diverge significantly from Jordan Brand's final releases.

Eschewing the luxurious nubuck found on other university-inspired pairs such as the "Oregon" and "UNC" editions, this version showcases lustrous suede on the rear and a textile forefoot upper. The latter resembles the materials used on the recently-released Air Jordan 5 "Craft." In a departure from the norm, the tongues of the sneakers are made of suede, accompanied by an unconventional choice of ribbed laces and a tinted lace lock.

The distinct upper is complemented by pristine white midsoles, splattered details on the forefoot teeth, and icy transparent rubber outsoles beneath. The design is topped off with smokey black eyestays, adding an extra layer of intrigue to the mix. This unexpected interpretation of the "Midnight Navy" adds an exciting twist to the Air Jordan 5 lineage, serving as a reminder of the Jordan Brand's ceaseless innovation and creative flair.

Pairs are currently scheduled to be released on November 10th, 2023, and will be released in full-family sizing.
