Air Jordan 5 “Alternate Bel-Air” Coming in 2020
2013’s Air Jordan 5 “Bel-Air” homage to Will Smith’s Fresh Prince is one of the most natural cross-overs in Jordan Brand’s storied collection. After all, Will was seen rocking the 1990 signature sneaker in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’s very first episode. That was then followed by a slew of on-screen Jordan wears over the cult classic’s six-year run, forging an even stronger bond between the two pop culture icons. Seven years on from that release, the Air Jordan 5 “Bel-Air” is still a hot commodity — but instead of a straight re-issue from the Jumpman Brand, they’ll be looking to unload an all-new version inspired by West Philly’s prodigal son.
Info leaking late yesterday from @zSneakerheadz & @MrUnloved1s has a follow-up Air Jordan 5 “Alternate Bel-Air” pegged for release in August 2020 — and it’s claimed to be arriving in white. We’re not entirely sure at this stage what it will look like, but the below Photoshop render of the OG pair may give you just a taste of what’s to come. It could even end up as a modified version of the never-before-seen sample that leaked back in mid-2018. Either way, we’ll be sure to keep you filled in with more information as it lands.
