Air Jordan 5 "White Metallic" Returns April 25 With Nike Air Branding
Although the Air Jordan 5 celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2025, the momentum continues into the new year. Jordan Brand is now set to bring back the fan-favorite Air Jordan 5 "White Metallic" colorway with an added twist.
The release last seen in 2015, is confirmed to return in Summer 2026. This time, however, the pair will feature Nike Air branding at the heel, aligning it more closely with the silhouette’s original 1990 roots.
Initially released in April 2015, the “White Metallic” edition of Tinker Hatfield’s classic brought together clean white uppers, reflective tongues, and a crisp black-and-silver accent package, including icy outsoles. The upcoming retro is expected to stay true to this formula while swapping out Jumpman branding for OG-styled Nike Air hits at the heel.

The pair will remain faithful to its previous run, serving as a clean and versatile take on the AJ5’s legacy.
Expect the Air Jordan 5 “White Metallic” to release in full-family sizing on April 25, 2026. While you wait, enjoy detailed shots of the retro ahead.
