With most of the year yet to pan out, more Air Jordan rumors for 2026 continue to emerge. Case in point?: The Air Jordan 5 'Wolf Grey' is expected return by June of next year.
Reported by Romania's Sneaker Market, the rumor would coincide with the fifth Air Jordan's 35th anniversary. Tinker Hatfield's iconic design has been a mainstay within the company's retro lineup over the last several years, but 2026 could be the model's biggest year to date. Its 'Wolf Grey' colorway, however, isn't part of the sneaker's original run. The greyscale retro released at a wide number of retails in 2011 to coincide with the silhouette's 20th anniversary. Since then, the style has become one of the model's most-requested retros.
Back in 2020, Jordan Brand teased longtime fans of the 'Wolf Grey' AJ5 by releasing a golf cleat version of the pair. It's unlikely, but still possible that the rumored 2026 reissue will follow the brand's Reimagined process–which lands on the Air Jordan 5 'Black Metallic' next month; the general shape of the pair could resemble the OG from 1991 closer to what was produced in the early 2010s. Jumpman logos and 23 numerals should reprise their roles on the coveted retro.
