First-Look: Women's Air Jordan 6 Low "Desert Berry/Black" Dropping Sept. 16

The Air Jordan 6 turns 35 in 2027. To celebrate the occasion, Jordan Brand has been prepping handfuls of different takes on the iconic sneaker, offering a healthy mix of readily-available and limited, collaborative styles. One such pair from the former category includes the Air Jordan 6 Low "Desert Berry," a retro pair exclusively for Women.

The low-top version of the sixth Air Jordan has never caught on in the same way as other shorter trims from Michael Jordan's signature sneaker line, but the more casual basketball shoe has enjoyed a cult-following since its debut in 2002.

True to its roots, the newly-surfaced offering, clad in a
"Black/Desert Berry/Metallic Silver" color scheme, arrives in Women's sizing. Its base layer is a soft, pitch-dark nubuck material that allows for iridescent pink overlays across the profiles to revel in the spotlight. Jumpman-branded lace toggles also indulge in a woman-friendly pastel, while accents on the race car-inspired heel fin and midsole opt for a glossy grey look.

The pair is scheduled to release via Nike.com/Jordan, Foot Locker, and a wide array of retailers come Wednesday, Sept. 16.
