What a year that was . . . 176 signature releases from Joran Brand in 2019 — a lot of heat in there, too — but from what we’ve seen for 2020, this year is going to be even bigger. And now that we’ve just ticked over to the new year, we can start looking forward to the bounty of Jordan Brand Drops that awaits. And now, adding to the epically long list of Jordan retro releases for 2020 is an all-new “Light Bone” Air Jordan 8.
Sneaker-leaker @zSneakerheadz has dropped some info on us regarding the release, which is tipped to arrive this Summer. He has the palette plotted in Summit White/Light Bone-Sail-Black, and while he did supply a mock-up for the release, it didn’t truly reflect the color scheme he listed. Alas, we have created a speculative Photoshop render of a potential outcome, utilizing Summit White as the pair’s base layer, and a very Fear of God “Light Bone” on the pair’s overlays, crossover straps, tongues, laces, and midsoles. Outsoles, liners and tongue branding we’ve painted in Sail, and brand accents, buckles and profile detail we’ve whipped up in black. Of course, this blocking is pure guesstimation and will likely change, but as soon as more info arrives, we’ll be sure to keep the visuals updated.
You can expect pairs to arrive during the Summer of 2020, with a release date and pricepoint to follow. Take a peep at our imagined pair below, and keep it locked on our Twitter Feed for any further updates, including first looks and a confirmed drop date for the release.
