Where to Buy the Air Jordan 8 “Paprika”
Snakeheads who were around during the peak of NikeTalk and Sole Collector forums need no introduction to the Air Jordan 8 “Paprika” — a sample from the original Sky Jordan days — but for those not able to make it, here’s a little recap:
For almost three decades, images of this rare Air Jordan 8 have been doing the rounds, 1993’s Air Jordan 8 “Paprika” is one of those mythical pairs that has managed to remain a hot topic of discussion, yet never given a retail release. A similar story goes for the Air Jordan 5 “Midnight Navy”and Air Jordan 3 “Citrus”, but unlike those (at least for now) the Air Jordan 8 will finally see a release. Staying fairly true to the original sample, Jordan Brand has dressed the pair in smooth white leather and black nubuck, with striking red trim, aggressive heel guard prints, and the removal of chenille tongue patches. Of course, there are a few minor tweaks like added red tongue liners and heels painted white instead of black; but all-in-all, it’s very close to the original.

A release date for the Air Jordan 8 “Paprika” has been identified for September 23rd; however, like the original sample pair, these will only release for the little ones.
If you’re planning on picking up a pair on the day, make sure you head to our dedicated Jordan Release Dates Calendar to set yourself a reminder for the drop.
