This year, the Air Jordan 9 has been presented in a vast array of new arrangements, from this year’s mix-and-match “Change The World” to the impending “Chile Red”release. Now, fans of Micahel Jordan’s ninth signature silhouette can look forward to another new colorway coming soon, with word of an Air Jordan 9 “Particle Grey” listed for arrival early in the new year.

Information and mock-ups provided by Sneakerfiles and zSneakerheadz give a clear depiction of the impending release, paring a brand-staple mix of black, red, white, and grey — a possible alternate of 2012’s “Kilroy” colorway. Here, a jet black nubuck upper arrives encased by the titular grey hue that gears the leather guard-to-heel overlay and midsole paint. There are also grey tints applied to the pair’s profile detail, almost resembling a fine ribbon in appearance. More black hits come into play at the tongues, liners, pulls, P.E. #23 motifs at the heel, and lateral Jumpmen, while pops of red are worked into the tone and heel detail.
