The Awake NY x Jordan Air Ship Releases on SNKRS on March 13

In the middle of 2023, a vibrant blend of New York's streetwear aficionados and fashion-forward fiends converged on the grand opening of Awake NY's first-ever flagship store. This momentous event unveiled the brand's avant-garde retail space and served as a platform to preview an exciting new collaboration between Awake NY and Nike: the reinvention of the classic Nike Air Ships.

Exhibited in a manner befitting their status, the Awake NY x Nike Air Ships were suspended in the heart of the brand's new Lower East Side sanctuary. Their design takes an artistic leap, with a daring mismatched aesthetic: a fiery red adorns the right shoe, while a refreshing blue graces the left one. These captivating colors further embellish the metallic silver Swoosh and wrap themselves around the collar, artfully backlighting the understated pattern work and layered black Wings atop.

In contrast to these striking color accents, the rest of the sneaker maintains a minimalist appeal. Predominantly, the shoe is dressed in a pristine white leather upper. An unmistakable detail lies in incorporating the letter "A", which is stitched into the shoe in the signature font of Awake NY, bestowing a personal touch to the overall design.
