Bandai Namco and Jordan Brand Team Up for Miniature Air Jordan 1 Collection
Jordan Brand’s cultural dominance continues to expand beyond footwear with its latest crossover — a collaboration with Bandai Namco that shrinks the iconic Air Jordan 1 High 85 into collectible form.
Set to release on August 7 via the Gashapon Online shopping site, the new capsule from Bandai Namco features a lineup of 18 miniature Air Jordan 1 High 85s, including two mystery styles that remain under wraps. Each pair replicates classic colorways from the silhouette’s storied past, ranging from “Bred” and “Chicago” to the more recent “Shadow” and “Reverse Shadow” iterations — now reimagined as palm-sized builds with impressive attention to detail.
Fans will also be able to take their collecting to the next level with a special model kit version, allowing you to assemble the sneaker piece by piece in true Bandai fashion. This deconstructed version is built to resemble the engineering of an actual Jordan 1 High 85, with molded parts for the upper, sole unit, laces, and overlays.

The concept draws from Bandai’s long history in model building, merging sneakerhead culture with the precise and nostalgic charm of miniature design. Each piece comes housed in a blind box, adding an element of surprise — especially with two undisclosed colorways hidden in the set.
Whether you're a longtime Air Jordan 1 collector or a fan of Gashapon-scale toys and model kits, the Bandai Namco x Jordan Brand collaboration presents a playful new take on sneaker culture. With Nike’s continued push into lifestyle and collectible markets, this marks a unique extension of the Jordan legacy into a new format.
The Bandai Namco x Air Jordan 1 High 85 Miniature Collection will be available exclusively through Gashapon Online starting August 7.
