The mis-matched colorway blocking is back. Or is it?
This previously unveiled ComplexCon-exclusive, which was set for a wider-yet-limited release on Black Friday, might just be getting a bigger release coming soon. Or something like it.
According to reports today from J23App, we’ll be getting another Black and Gold “Top Three” Air Jordan 1 for All-Star weekend next February.
We don’t have any images yet, but it could possibly arrive in flipped color blocking, one that different than the original NRG release. This is noted by the slightly differing style code numbers

UPDATE 11.08.17
The “Top Three” / Complex version of the Black and Gold Air Jordan 1 may still release. Foot Locker Australia’s release calendar has the sneaker listed as releasing on Nov. 27. Further to this, European sneaker store BSTN had the shoe on its website as a “coming soon” release. There’s no word on a Stateside release as of yet, but with no confirmation from Jordan Brand, we can only assume that this release will be an Aussie and Euro exclusive, with an alternate version to be hitting stores in the US. Stay tuned for more info on this story as it unfolds right here on the House of Heat!
UPDATE 11.08.17
Today we got word that the “Top Three” version of this Black and Gold will remain a ComplexCon exclusive. What we will actually get is a matching pair of patent leather Air Jordan 1’s – i.e. both shoes will be identical in color blocking. The below image may not be exactly what we get, but it will be similar. Stay locked into the House of Heat for more info on this upcoming All-Star release as the story unfolds.
UPDATE 11.04.17
We’ve just got word that these will release for All-Star weekend in February for $160. There are also some more images to surface, you can check them out below too!
