With Chinese New Year approaching — and Edison Chen recently teasing some on-foot shots at his upcoming CLOT x Air Jordan 14 Low collaboration — it’d be safe to say that now, with official imagery for the accompanying CLOT x Air Jordan 35 surfacing, that a release will be right around the corner. Though details on its release may be vague, the 2021 CLOT collaborative story is nothing along steadily, with the latest chapter being this, a first and official look at the pair.

Distancing itself from the terracotta-like Air Jordan 13 and 14s, the CLOT x Air Jordan 35 still opts for natural hues, though this time working in traditional Chinese colors of red and gold, while jade-look finished are applied to the Eclipse plate and ankle detail. Mesh and suede make up most of the release, arriving in Sepia Stone and Desert Sand, while trimming, meeting, hardware, and branding are reserved for the aforementioned national colors. Co-branding can be found at the forefoot and insoles, and at the rear pull, too, while a heritage armor-like motif is debossed into the lateral ankle to both complete the design and link it back to the accompanying Air Jordan 14.
