We said it once, we said it twice, and now we’ll say if for a third and final time; the Air Jordan 1 High OG “University Blue” literally looks good in any pastel shade. Replace the blue hue for anything on the soft-shade spectrum, and you’ve got yourself an instant sell-out. We proved this theory on our concept “Arctic Pink” and “Tropical Twist” renditions, and once again it’s proven with this conceptual Air Jordan 1 High OG “University Gold”
For our third and final concept of the series (there are plenty more we could have done, believe me!) we’ve shifted the palette to sherbert yellow. Featuring classic Chi blocking, subtle use of color, and texture contrast, and vibrant (but not too colorful) hue, the concept colorway results in an easy Spring/Summer wear. Now that we’ve come to the end of our three-part series of soft suede Ones, the ball is in Jordan Brand’s court. Will we see more of these Uni Blue-based builds? Here’s hoping.
Take a look at our renders of this speculative colorway below, and stay tuned for more, new concepts coming soon.
