Talk about a #WaybackWednesday — these things date back to early 2017.

Of course, back then we didn’t have a website. But they spread around social media like wildfire back in the day. When I realized these weren’t on the site, I was determined to remaster the design for today’s #FlashbackFriday.

The inspiration? I love cheesecake. Who doesn’t?

The simple mix of white, cream and deep red makes for a delicious combo. Our colorway first sprouted on the Air Jordan 9, which was an instant classic. People who despised the 9th signature sneaker were suddenly on board. The success of that design led to this Air Jordan 4, a Jordan 11, Jordan 5, Jordan 14 and many more. This remastered version swaps out basic leather uppers for rich vanilla suede and we’ve also plugged in gold eyelets to represent my mom’s dessert forks.
