A big part of Jordan Brand — at least their outward-facing persona — is Family. They oft refer to their athletes, designs, and team members as part of one genealogy, and it’s pretty evident just how close these guys are by looking at how members interact with each other across social media. With family playing such a big part within the brand, it should come as no surprise that this next Air Jordan 1 Mid “Familia” honors their tight-knit relationships.

This Gradeschool (now confirmed to be a full-size run) release arrives with a bevy of beautiful finishes, including cracked leather collars and Checks in a commanding golden-yellow, contrast stitching, and charmingly decorated tongue tags. All of that arrives across a white leather base with magenta leather overlays, a matching sole unit, and striking black wax laces and liners. Completing the design is a set of special graphic insoles and a forefoot “PARA MI FAMILIA” callout.
