No, we’re not talking about that Korea . . .
The Air Jordan 3 is blowing up globally in 2018, thanks in no small part to it’s massive win during Super Bowl LII.
As part of the worldwide celebration of the silhouette’s 30th anniversary, Jordan Brand will be releasing a limited edition colorway that honors the insane basketball culture in Korea.
Although it would be hilarious to see Kim Jong Un try to hit a layup (he dropped 180 points in one game – according to the free media in NK), we’re talking about South Korea – the normal one.
The sneaker was first spotted on the feet of South Korea FIBA coach Jae Hur (pictured)
The colorway is decked out in South Korean colors of White, Red and Royal, highlighted with the Taegukgi flag on the right tongue and “Seoul” in Korean embroidered on the back left tongue. Surprisingly it comes with Nike Air Branding, which is typically only used on OG’s.
The Air Jordan 3 “Korea” to release very soon in highly limited quantities – at this stage – only in South Korea’s Nike.com.kr on March 10th.
If you’re a local, to buy the shoes Nike.com.kr are holding a draw between March 7th 10AM (local) through March 8th 8PM (local). Winners will be notified on March 9th, and those selected can purchase on release date of March 10th.
Stay tuned for any information regarding a stateside release.
